Nairn and the Highlands
Nairn is an attractive seaside town with a prime location on the Moray Firth coast just 16 miles east of Inverness. Nairn is steeped in history and is closely linked with the battle of Culloden, the final land battle on the mainland. The town boasts some of the top beaches and cleanest bathing waters in Scotland and they have gained national recognition for their high standards. The waters of the Moray Firth are home to a dolphin colony and they are often seen from several vantage points on the Nairn shore.
